What is Paymate?
Paymate is a secure, accurate and reliable internet payment service available to individuals, businesses and other organisations.
You can use Paymate to make secure payments to any registered Paymate client, without divulging your personal or financial details to them. You can use a credit card to make a payment from any of 37 countries, in Australian Dollars. (to check how much you are paying in your local curreny use our currency converter - Please Note: the final conversion amount will be according to your credit card exchange rates) You do NOT need to be registered with Paymate to make an Express Payment
via credit card but you can only pay registered clients.
To Make a Payment
Once you have completed your order at Checkout, you will be directed to a completed order confirmation page where you will see the 'Paymate Express' logo. To proceed with payment click on the 'Paymate Express' image and simply fill in
the form presented.
The form will contain your Xman order number, Australian dollar amount and Xmans's email address for payment confirmation.
You will need to enter your own email address for payment confirmation.
If you are not registered, you can simply fill in your credit card details to make a payment. If you are a registered client of Paymate, enter your username and password and select the account you
want to make a payment from. Then check the details of the payment before you click the 'make payment' button.
Registered clients can also log in to Paymate and click on the 'Make a Payment' tab located at the top of the page, fill in the form, and click the "make payment " button.
Payment Processing
Once a buyer has 'Made a Payment', Paymate conducts a rigorous risk assessment on the transaction to protect clients. Paymate then debits your nominated Australian bank account (overnight) or credit card (immediately). Paymate then sends an email to the buyer and to the recipient, East Sea Road to say the payment is being processed.
If you pay via credit card, money will be deposited in the recipient's bank account after 1-2 full business days. If you pay from your Australian bank account, it takes up to four business days for the payment to clear, on which day Paymate
will deposit the money in the recipient's account.
P
aymate will send a confirmation email to both buyer and seller when the money is deposited into the recipient's bank account.NOTE: If the payment is identified as risky by Paymate, Paymate may contact the buyer and seller for more information or simply turn down the transaction - this is for your own protection. Paymate will also turn down the transaction if your
bank declines the payment.
Transaction Privacy
When you send or request money using Paymate, the other party is provided only enough information to complete the transaction with confidence.
Recipients never see your financial information such as credit card details
or bank account numbers.
COD
Your order will be delivered to the postal outlet closest to your address, and you will be informed that there is a C.O.D. item awaiting collection.
You will then need to pay for the item at time of picking up at the post office. (Note that the post office will have no information on the contents of the package)
Note additional $9.30* charge levied by Australia Post on top of invoice cost for COD collection.
